Satisfy the Service Needs of Your Residents |
|
Service needs of communities are ever-changing. With new
emerging technologies, increased competition and recent
regulatory changes, YOU now have more choices than ever.
Don’t assume that the "renewal" options offered
by your local cable television or phone company provider are
your only options. Make no mistake, your association is
important to cable, satellite and telephone providers, and
they ALL want to earn your business.
Virtually all condominium and private
community homeowner associations have some form of
telecommunications "access" or "easement" agreement in place,
which gives permission to providers to bring their cable,
satellite, Internet and/or telephone services onto your
association's private property.
We recommend that you not sign a
new or renewal agreement without evaluating YOUR options! We
will help you evaluate your service needs and options at no
cost to you.
Broadband Agreement Specialists in committed to obtaining the
most innovative telecom services, at the best pricing and
financial compensation available for our clients. Our interest
in helping you to select the best options for your
community, from the best service providers. We work
for your association as your expert consultant, with
first-hand industry experience. Each individual association proposal is
evaluated on its product offering, service experience and
financial/pricing merits. What works best for your
association is what we want.
Below you
will find important issues faced by homeowner and condominium
associations. If your association is currently, or soon will
be confronting any of these issues, then we’re here to help!
Agreements With Service Providers
Do you
currently have an agreement for services with any
telecommunications providers? Are they current, expiring soon or
already expired? Although your community may not have
a "bulk" cable TV agreement, did you know that an "access" or
"easement" agreement may still exist? Even if your
community agreements are not due
to expire or renew for years to come, you still may have
options!

Bulk Cable and Internet Service Agreements:
New & Renewal
Do you
currently have a bulk service agreement for cable
television, satellite television and/or Internet services?
If your agreement will expire or renew within the next
12-months, then it is time to begin evaluating your options.
The longer you wait, the less options you will have.
And if you start early, your association will likely have
several alternative options that may be better then the
arrangements you currently have. As your association
advocate, we will seek multiple alternate proposal options,
which will enable you to understand and select the best
service and pricing options. We will help you
negotiate your next bulk contract so that it works best for
your community.
Technology, Pricing & Compensation to
Your Association
With
recent advances in technologies, are you interested in learning
more about what new services are available or will be
available to your association in the near future? If so, are
you interested in obtaining these cable, satellite, high-speed
Internet and phone options at the best pricing and financial
compensation available?
Recent Regulatory Changes That Have
Increased Your Options
With the more recent Federal Communications Commission (FCC) order
banning the use of exclusivity clauses for the provision of
video services to multiple dwelling units (MDUs) or other real
estate developments, new service
options for your community may now exist that were not
permissible prior to the FCC order.
This FCC order may have an
impact on your current
agreement, even if it has not yet expired or is not due to
expire in the near future! Your association may now have
the option to bring in more that one provider for video
services, offering more choice and selection for your
residents. Local, state and federal regulations are
ever-changing, and we're here to help.

Association Private Property Rights
and Service Provider Rights to Enter Your Community
Do you
know which telecom service providers have contractual "access" rights
to service your property? OR, are telecom providers currently
serving or have the intention to serve your community without contractual rights?
Private property “access” agreements grant rights to enter
community areas which are private property. They are a
separate from any “bulk” cable contract agreement that may or
may not exist. You need to know your the status of your
property rights, or you may be missing out on thousands of
dollars of financial compensation
(Private
property easement and access rights vary in "Mandatory
Access States").
Are You Interested in Obtaining
“Added Value” Services as Part of Your Current Cable
Television Service New or Renewal Agreement?
Gate
Cameras, Community Channels, Common Area Wi-Fi. These are

renewal.

associations are looking for ways to terminate / cancel their existing
bulk cable television agreement contract. We work on the
association's behalf to negotiate a financially favorable
solution with reduced services or early cancellation options.
We can help and assist your association with the cancellation of
your condominium or homeowner association bulk cable television
contract.
